1987 - 1987 - Kitchen Gallery Appointed Exclusive SieMatic Dealer
After working with SieMatic whilst in the employment with the well know Builders Merchants Candy & Morris, Diane Grant leaves to set up Kitchen Gallery. Due to her total commitment and passion for the brand she wins the SieMatic dealership when Candy & Morris ceases business.
1992 - Diane Grant Celebrates 5 Years of Trading
With her dedication and commitment Diane Grant celebrates 5 years of trading from the showroom located in Dorridge.
1996 - A New Era for Kitchen Gallery
A new era for Kitchen Gallery as it is sold to new owners who are keen to diversify their business portfolio.
1997 - Kitchen Gallery Designers All Learn CAD
Decision is taken to train all designers to use the latest CAD software by Planet - A huge decision which would make Kitchen Gallery the leading kitchen studio in Design.
2000 - Kitchen Gallery Awarded Prestigious Bryant Homes Developmen
Bryant Homes award Kitchen Gallery the prestigious development in Little Aston, Endwood court is a development of 6 exclusive homes priced at over £1million - which are fitted with the Painters Collection Range.
2001 - E S Squires & Son Celebrate 25 Year Partnership
E S Squires & Son celebrate 25 years of exclusive partnership with SieMatic. The third generation family owned installation team has installed every SieMatic kitchen sold by Candy & Morris and Kitchen Gallery in the last 25 years.
2004 - From Strength to Strength
Kitchen Gallery goes from strength to strength as the management continue investment in all areas of the business. As the premises adjacent become vacant, they are acquired to double the the retail space which allows for more SieMatic displays - The evergreen classical 6006 is displayed for the first time - this kitchen made it’s debut way back in 1960.
2005 - ieMatic Showroom of the Year
Kitchen Gallery are awarded the SieMatic Showroom of the year at a glittering party attended by all the SieMatic dealers world wide.
2006 - Grand Commision
Kitchen Gallery are commissioned to design, install and project manage the most expensive kitchen to date. The commission is by a private client and will become the most expensive kitchen sold by SieMatic to date.
2010 - Kitchen Gallery Opens it's Second Store!
End of an era as Kitchen Gallery have to leave their existing premises due to the development of Forest Court by Sainsbury’s. After much deliberation a new location is acquired in Shirley Solihull. This is only 400 yards away from the original site where SieMatic was sold all way back in 1970. So it is a full circle. The new showroom is designed by the New York architect Mick Ricerto and the showroom is given a lot of accolades as it breaks away from the norm.
2011 - New Showroom
Kitchen Gallery opened their new showroom in Stratford Upon Avon. Designed by SieMatic’s award winning architect Marc Sporer, the showroom features 5 stunning room sets - with appliances from Sub Zero - Miele = Gaggenau & Siemens. The Beauxarts 02 - the ground-breaking kitchen from SieMatic is also on display. Craig Thompson joined Kitchen Gallery as a designer. Based at the Shirley Showroom, he has a BA Hons in Commercial Photography.
2012 - 25 Years of Interior Design
Kitchen Gallery is celebrating it’s 25th year and have been nominated as a finalist in the Kitchen Showroom of the Year category of the prestigious KBB Awards 2012, a national award organized by the UK's leading magazine for the kitchen & bathroom industry, KBBReview. Tahir Mahmood, MD for Kitchen Gallery, says: "I am delighted that Kitchen Gallery has been shortlisted for the KBBReview awards, and honoured to be among such distinguished companies."
