“Kitchen Gallery go above and beyond the norm… The displays in the two shops are great for ideas, helping formulate the overall plan.”
A perfect balance of shapes and volumes
Mr & Mrs Knott came to us with a vision of a kitchen to fit in with their ultra-contemporary eco house built in the midst of the more traditional Edwardian & Georgian style houses. The design for the kitchen is very simple, however don’t let that fool you as to the detail within the planning of the space and what it incorporates.
“From start to finish the experience was good, the fitter was very particular and exact with all the work – and was clean and tidied up after himself!” Paula Knott
The S2 design suits this house to the tee, with the square and clean lines of the house, our kitchen designer had to incorporate the new kitchen into the space without it compromising the area around it. Having the tall units that sit flush with the wall disguises any overwhelming volumes; this niche gave room to house tall larders and full height refrigeration units. The new pocket door was utilised to help retain the balance and symmetry of the units by hiding away a coffee machine.
Modern, yet not insignificant
To contrast the white of the walls, they opted for ‘Titan Pine’ wood effect doors for the island, the horizontal grains emphasises an already audaciously long island. Complete with a near flush induction hob to one end and seating on the other, this unique design allows the cook to access both sides of the drawers, which to one side are packed full of amazing herbs & spices and the opposite side, utensils. A neat under counter wine cooler nestles in between the hob & sink units to give this kitchen everything one would need.
“We think that Kitchen Gallery go above and beyond the norm..the displays in the 2 showrooms are great for ideas, like or dislike, they help formulate the overall plan.” Paula Knott
Mr & Mrs Knott have already recommended Kitchen Gallery to their friends & family, and have since tied up another design for the neighbouring build.
